Provo Canyon Fly Fishing

Departs from: Provo Canyon next to Vivian Park between Bridal Veil waterfalls and the Sundance Resort turn-off
Enjoy a beautiful, relaxing day on one of our country's blue-ribbon trout streams, in the pristine canyons of the Wasatch Mountains. With a continuous series of hatches from early March to late November, you'll enjoy dry and wet-fly fishing in almost every season. Try floating down the river to some of the best fishing holes and wade out with an experienced guide. All of our fishing trips are small, private excursions with just your group and a guide. There are thousands of Wild Brown, Cutthroat, and Rainbows along this 6 mile stretch. First-timers are welcome, our friendly guides would be happy to teach you the art of fly-fishing.

What to Wear
Sunglasses, and a camera or video-camera with a case, comfortable clothes that can get wet. Swimsuits or quick drying shorts and T-shirts. Hats with fasteners, long pants and long-sleeve shirts if you need protection from the sun. You'll want shoes that can get wet- Chaco and Teva-type sandals or flip-flops that fasten securely on your feet are the best option. There are very few biting insects on the river and repellent usually isn't necessary.

Departure Time and Location
Departure times vary from Provo Canyon next to Vivian Park between Bridal Veil waterfalls and the Sundance Resort turn-off. Select morning or afternoon preference when booking.
Once you reach Provo Canyon, stay to the right and proceed 6 miles until you reach Vivian park. Proceed 50 meters past the entrance of Vivian and turn right into our parking lot. We are located 2 miles past Bridal Veil Falls. If you reach a tunnel, you have gone about 1/2 mile too far. If you see a reservoir you have gone 6 miles too far.
